Noel Fielding’s ‘Luxury Comedy’ to return later this year, Channel 4 confirms
The absurd British comedy series Noel Fielding’s Luxury Comedy is undoubtedly one of the most unapologetically insane shows currently running on television — and yes, it is still on television.
The series, which stars Noel Fielding (The Mighty Boosh) as many different and bizarre characters, was renewed for a second season after its first series aired early last year. Since then, though, the show hasn’t been mentioned; troublingly, it was absent from Channel 4’s list of upcoming summer programming.
We contacted Channel 4 to make sure that Luxury Comedy hadn’t been secretly cancelled (we would have blamed Ice Cream Eyes). Thankfully, the network assuaged our fears: as it turns out, the series has just been pushed back.
Filming for series 2 will reportedly begin in the summer, with the series to air on the network later in the year.
Consider yourself safe for now, Ice Cream Eyes. (via Noel Fielding’s ‘Luxury Comedy’ to return later this year, Channel 4 confirms)
